Which relationship has taught you the most about yourself?
Most assuredly becoming a parent has taught me so much. Not just about myself, but I guess about humanity.
Pre-children was a time of self-centredness , in looking back probably sheer selfishness. Life was all about me. All I had to do was worry about myself.
From the moment of knowing my very first child was a being, that I was responsible for nurturing and bringing that baby to the world, the love was like nothing I’d ever experienced.
I’m a Mumma of four, all now grown to adulthood, and I’ve not stopped learning. Still learning about what is the most important thing in my life. Love. Caring. Responsibility. Family.
Having my children has been the most influential , the best achievement of my life. And I’ve realised it’s also the hardest job in the world. Ask any parent .
