I live in a place where rolling green hills tumble down to meet the sea. It’s a semi rural paradise two hours from a major city, and so it is also a tourist town much loved for a weekend visit by the city slickers.

In I love my town because it is a little bit city, a little bit country. It’s slower, quieter, the air is a lot cleaner than the city.

We locals want for nothing. We can sit on an almost empty beach all summer, the surf too is uncontested, no fear of being intimidated by crowds.

Our locals are caring. We all share in living in an amazing place. We are grateful for our good fortune. We know how lucky we are.
